The Ministry of Home Affairs team emerged champion of the Inter-Ministry Royal Birthday Trophy Football Tournament 2025. Held in conjunction with the 79th Royal Birthday Celebration, the final was held at Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium in Berakas, 13th September afternoon.

In the final match, the Prime Minister's Office team lost 3-NIL to the Ministry of Home Affairs. Prizes were handed over by Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Lailaraja Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Awang Haji Halbi bin Haji Mohd Yussof, Minister at the Prime Minister's Office and Second Minister of Defence. Meanwhile the challenge trophy courtesy of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince was handed over by Yang Berhormat Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Ahmaddin bin Haji Abdul Rahman, Minister of Home Affairs.
